Privacy Policy

CreatorScout helps authorized users discover YouTube creators, organize leads, analyze public creator content, and prepare outreach. This policy explains how information is processed when you use the service.

Information we process

• Account information supplied by the identity provider, such as your name and email address.
• Public YouTube channel, video, and creator information requested through connected APIs.
• Campaigns, lead records, outreach drafts, settings, and usage counters created inside CreatorScout.
• OAuth tokens and API credentials you choose to connect.

How information is used

We use this information only to operate CreatorScout: authenticate users, retrieve and filter creator data, synchronize the shared workspace, generate personalized drafts, send approved messages, enforce per-user quotas, and diagnose service errors.

YouTube API Services and Google

CreatorScout uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public channel and video metadata, including channel identifiers, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, subscriber and video counts, view statistics, publication dates, language indicators, and public upload activity. By using features powered by YouTube API Services, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

CreatorScout does not download, re-upload, modify, like, comment on, or subscribe to YouTube content. We do not sell YouTube API data or use it to create an independent data-broker product.

Other connected services

CreatorScout may connect to Gmail, Cloudflare, and optional AI or email-discovery providers. Their own privacy policies also apply. Google user data is used only to provide the features you explicitly authorize.

Device storage and cookies

CreatorScout and its authentication provider use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, security, session continuity, and application settings. CreatorScout also uses browser storage for interface preferences, temporary workflow state, and optional provider settings.

Credentials and security

The YouTube Data API credential is managed by the CreatorScout administrator and is never returned to the browser. Access to the application is controlled through authenticated accounts and production traffic uses HTTPS. Optional service credentials are used only for the features you configure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention, refresh, and deletion

CreatorScout treats public channel and video information as Non-Authorized YouTube API Data. It refreshes that data through a new API request or deletes it before it reaches 30 calendar days. Expired records are excluded from every user-facing response and removed during retention enforcement. Search-history identifiers, campaign references, and YouTube-derived analysis caches follow the same maximum period.

CreatorScout-created fields—such as lead status, outreach notes, campaign membership, qualification labels, and user-entered search topics—are our own data and are clearly separate from YouTube API data. They may be retained until you delete them or your account.

You may immediately request deletion through the Data Controls page or by emailing the address below. Eligible emailed requests are completed as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days, except where limited retention is legally required. Deleting CreatorScout data does not delete or change data stored by YouTube.

Your choices and revocation

CreatorScout does not request authorization to private YouTube account data. You can revoke Google sign-in or other connected Google permissions at any time through Google Account permissions, use Data Controls, disconnect optional integrations, or stop using the service.
